Part-Time Forest School Assistant (Long-Term Opportunity)

Wednesdays, Term Time Only, 3:0pm – 4:30 pm

Silverwoods Forest School is looking for a passionate and reliable Forest School Assistant to join our growing team.

Based in a beautiful private woodland at The Weald C of E Primary School, you’ll support child-led Forest School sessions, helping children build confidence, resilience and a lifelong connection with nature.

About the role

You will support the Lead Forest School Practitioner in delivering engaging, safe and inspiring sessions for primary-aged children. Duties include:

  • Supporting child-led Forest School activities.
  • Assisting with woodland management, equipment and resources.
  • Promoting safe practice around tools, fires and outdoor learning.
  • Helping to create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
  • Passion for working with children outdoors.
  • Reliable, enthusiastic and committed.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Enhanced DBS (Update Service preferred).
  • Experience working with primary aged children.
  • Safeguarding
