Silverwood School is an inspirational and forward-thinking special school based in the heart of Wiltshire. We support pupils aged 4-19 with a wide range of special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). This role is based at our Rowde campus.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality early years teaching within a specialist SEND setting
  • Conduct home visits in Term 1 to establish strong relationships with pupils and families
  • Support children attending water confidence sessions in the onsite hydrotherapy pool
  • Utilise our extensive outdoor areas and work with school animals to enhance learning and engagement
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to a shared team ethos
  • Foster an environment rich in sensory experiences and structured exploration
