  • Develop production schedules, establish priorities, and monitor progress across the factory floor.

  • Review production orders or schedules to ascertain product data such as types, quantities, or specifications of products and scheduled delivery dates.

  • Confer with other department managers to coordinate operations and activities within or between departments.

  • Analyse information to determine factors that will affect supply chain logistics, labour needs, or changeover times.

  • Direct the movement of finished products to storage areas to ensure timely delivery to suppliers.

  • Select the most efficient layout for each new project considering factors such as available space, workflow, final product requirements, and safety concerns.

  • Oversee the set-up of workstations with tools, supplies, and materials required for each shift.

  • At least 2 years experience working within a similar environment within an FMCG Manufacturer.

  • Experience working within a fast pace environment

  • Experience managing a team or factory floor

  • Knowledge of Health and Safety across a factory

  • Computer Literate

  • Good Communication skills and People Managing skills.
