We currently cover interest rate derivatives for the largest hedge funds in New York, London, Dubai, and Geneva.
The role:
As a senior salesperson on our team, your role will be to cover portfolio managers, providing them with best-in-class trade idea creation, optimisation and execution.
The assets you will cover are listed rates and options, as well as OTC interest rate swaps. Your team will consist of execution traders and sales associates. You\’ll be expected to provide training and mentoring to our associates.
Key Responsibilities:
• Generate sales in interest rate products with buy side clients
• Develop and present actionable trade ideas to clients
• Build and deepen relationships with portfolio managers across existing and potentially new clients
• Train and mentor, our associates and junior sales team members
Required Skills and Experience:
• Experience in interest rate derivatives and options sales
• Experience in trade execution and a solid understanding of the relevant regulatory
environment
• Existing client relationships are highly desirable; however, strong product knowledge and sales acumen can compensate for fewer initial relationships
