Silvertel, founded in 1997, has almost 30 years of experience in the Design, Manufacture and Supply of Advanced Electronic Power Modules. Our Power over Ethernet (PoE), Telecoms, DC-DC Converters, and other Advanced Electronic Power Module products are sold to thousands of global customers in 70+ countries, including some of the world’s largest blue-chip companies.
This role is based at Silvertel’s Head Office in Newport, South Wales. This is a full-time on-site role based in Newport for an Electronics Engineer Technician. The technician will provide technical support to distributors and end-users, assist with troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, and produce technical documentation and promotional material to support product sales and growth. They will also assist in product testing, application development, and documenting technical materials.
Qualifications:- Proficiency in providing Technical Support, including assisting with product testing and application development.
- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to support distributors and global end-users effectively.
- Customer Centric approach and experience dealing directly with global customers on product related matters.
- Experience with Troubleshooting and delivering technical solutions.
- Ability to create technical documentation including datasheets, applications notes, referenced designs and drawings.
- Qualifications in electronics or a related field are advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail.
