Electronics Applications Technician in Newport

This role is based at Silvertel’s Head Office in Newport, South Wales.

Role Description

This is a full‑time on‑site Electronics Applications Technician role based in Newport. The technician will provide technical support to distributors and end‑users, assist with troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, produce technical documentation and promotional material to support product sales and growth, assist in product testing, application development, and document technical materials.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in providing technical support, including assisting with product testing and application development.
• Strong communication and customer service skills to support distributors and global end‑users effectively.
• Customer‑centric approach and experience dealing directly with global customers on product‑related matters.
• Experience with troubleshooting and delivering technical solutions.
• Ability to create technical documentation including datasheets, application notes, referenced designs and drawings.
• Qualifications in electronics or a related field are advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail.
