Overview
Product Data Manager - Engineering Information Control located in London or Southampton. Responsible for robustly controlling and managing all engineering data related to Silverstream Technologies products.
Responsibilities
- Select, implement and maintain a Product Data Management (PDM) system that meets business requirements
- Enhance throughput, control and quality of product and project delivery
- Report to the Chief Engineer
Essential qualifications, skills and experience
- Experience of PDM systems, specifically implementation and management throughout the engineering lifecycle
- Experience improving enterprise integration of CAD/PLM/PDM/ERP toolsets
- Able to translate user requirements into system and sub-system requirements for tool selection
- Construct effective audit tools for compliance tracking (V&V)
- Ability to multi-task on multiple projects to strict time scales
- Understands business objectives and can influence stakeholders
- Strong interpersonal skills
Desirable qualifications, skills and experience
- Higher Degree in Engineering / Naval Architecture or related subject
- Chartered Engineering Status preferable
- Proven track record of 10+ years developing solutions in multi-disciplinary engineering teams
