The venue operations department is a fast-paced team who thrive on detail and best in class on the delivery and management of all site assets and infrastructure year-round. The estates and facilities team within this manage and maintain site wide infrastructure, including Escapade with its modern trackside accommodation and a performance-led Gallery which enjoy close-up viewing of top-level racing.
We have an exciting opportunity in our Team for a Painting Technician. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that our venue and facilities operate seamlessly at the highest standards of performance and presentation. You will work within the Maintenance Team, ensuring the venue remains fully functional, presentable, and aligned with our brand’s commitment to excellence.
Key Responsibilities- General Maintenance & Repairs: Perform interior and exterior painting for residential units, clubhouse areas, and common spaces. Prepare surfaces (e.g. filling, sanding, priming) to ensure high-quality finishes. Maintain and restore painted surfaces to meet the brand’s aesthetic standards. Select appropriate materials, tools, and finishes in line with Escapade’s premium brand. Conduct touch-ups and remedial painting as required.
- Light Maintenance Support: Conduct minor repairs (e.g. plumbing leaks, broken fittings, door handles, patch plastering). Support planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedules. Assist with equipment checks, light fixture replacements, and general handyperson duties. Report major repair needs to Maintenance Manager and support external contractors as needed. Respond promptly to guest-related maintenance requests with professionalism.
- Guest Service & Engagement: Provide professional, friendly, and responsive service to guests, promptly addressing their requests and concerns. Maintain a professional demeanour in all interactions, ensuring a seamless guest experience.

First Time Fix – Maintain efficiency in resolving maintenance issues promptly. Health & Safety Compliance – Adhere to all safety protocols and ensure compliance across the site.
