Silverstone, the home of British motorsport, is looking for a strategic, forward-thinking and creative Communications Manager to oversee its communications strategy across a diverse portfolio of offerings.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee cross-channel communications campaigns from strategy to delivery for all Silverstone products such as the British Grand Prix, MotoGP and Silverstone Festival, as well as Escapade and Leisure products, ensuring every campaign meets timelines, budgets, and maximises publicity opportunities
- Manage the delivery of the organisation’s communications strategy and engagement plan across a variety of audience stakeholder groups, both external and internal.
- Protect and enhance Silverstone’s reputation and brand through a combination of proactive and reactive communications, including issues management and crisis communications.
- Proactively identify and secure media coverage opportunities across all Silverstone products including motorsport, lifestyle, travel, hospitality and entertainment media.
- Manage external support from both agencies and consultants to co-ordinate campaigns effectively.
- Proactively cultivate and maintain strong relationships with media, influencers, and industry partners to secure positive coverage and collaborations.
- Field and manage enquiries from local, national and international media and maintain contact details/media lists/messaging database.
- Coordinate and distribute media announcements – including releases, statements, briefing documents and fact sheets – in close collaboration with internal stakeholders.
- Create regular coverage reports to showcase success of campaigns.
- Monitor industry trends and make appropriate recommendations regarding communication strategy surrounding them
- Manage the delivery of the organisation’s day-to-day communications function, including planning, sourcing and creating content for a variety of channels and events.
- Curate experience visits across the hotels for key media, ensuring they receive bespoke experiences.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Demonstrable experience in proactively executing impactful B2B and B2C campaigns across a wide range of product offerings.
- Exceptional project management skills to juggle priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels – both internal and external.
- Creative flair with excellent written and / verbal skills
