The Escapade Commis Chef will support the culinary team in food preparation and maintaining high standards of culinary excellence. The role serves as a stepping stone for individuals who aspire build a career as a chef at Escapade and beyond.

Key Responsibilities
- To create and implement a best-in-class and award-winning guest experience.
- Food Preparation: Assist in the preparation and cooking of dishes under the guidance of senior kitchen staff. Follow recipes, portion control and presentation guidelines to maintain consistency. Ensure that all ingredients and equipment are prepared and organised ready for service. Set up workstations with the necessary tools, utensils and ingredients.
- Communication and Collaboration: Assist chefs and kitchen staff in food preparation such as prepping any ingredients. Retrieve and stock kitchen supplies as needed. Communicate effectively with the kitchen staff to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow. Report any kitchen maintenance issues to the Head Chef or Kitchen Manager. Be flexible in assisting with kitchen tasks as needed during busy events and peak times.
- Hygiene and Safety: Maintain kitchen cleanliness. Adhere to safety and hygiene standards, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and waste disposal. Follow health and safety guidelines, including the correct use of personal protective equipment.
- Sustainability: To promote, implant and act with the sustainability initiatives as directed by Escapade Silverstone.
