We are looking for passionate, enthusiastic Bar staff to join our Bar Team. We are looking for bartenders who can work in a fast-paced bar and deliver a wide range of drinks in a high-volume environment. You will need to be knowledgeable about drinks and be confident in providing guests with the correct drink choice. The role will allow you to learn and develop amongst our friendly and hardworking bar team, with the potential to progress within the company. To ensure the effective and efficient running of all small to medium on-site bars for MICE and Track events in accordance with the management team brief.

Silverstone is seeking a highly motivated Bartender skilled in detail-oriented service, member recognition, POS systems operations, and tending bar. All members of the Bar team are required to have a competent knowledge of different types of beer, wine and spirits and their delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Mix beverages using an extensive range of ingredients including liquor, bitters, soda, water, sugar, and fruits.
  • Take beverage orders from customers or wait staff and serve drinks with attention to detail.
  • Satisfy patron requests in a timely manner.
  • Assess customer preferences and make drink recommendations.
  • Provide a positive and friendly guest experience.
  • Take payments for drinks served and provide change as needed.
  • Check identification to verify legal age requirements.
  • Keep a well-stocked bar with an adequate supply of liquor, beer, wine, mixers, ice, napkins, straws, glassware, and other accessories.
  • Set up and break down temporary bars.
  • Clean the bar, tables, chairs, and work area to maintain a sanitary environment.
  • Organise the bar area to streamline drink preparation and inventory.
  • Slice, pit, and prepare fruit garnishes for drinks.
  • Comply with all food and beverage regulations.

  • Experience as a Bartender.
  • Excellent knowledge of mixing, garnishing and serving drinks.
  • Touch Screen Till literacy.
  • Positive attitude and excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean.
  • Relevant training certificate.
  • Ownership, problem solving, proactive and self-motivated.
  • Team player with initiative.
  • Passionate about customer care and service.
  • Attention to detail, with strong organisational, time management and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexible working hours – including weekends.
  • Clear and articulate in oral and written communication.
