Salary: Salary based on experience (placement or graduate)

Reporting to the Senior Design Engineer and Production Manager, this is an exciting opportunity to join an innovative engineering company who, for almost 40 years, have been providing a range of superior-quality exhaust systems to the highest levels of motorsport both in the UK and around the world, including F1, Indycar and various levels of GT racing.

Responsibilities

  • Develop products to meet customer specifications
  • Design tooling and fixturing
  • Modify customer design to meet manufacturing capabilities
  • Liaise with in-house fabricators and machinists
  • Perform general office duties
  • Maintain part number databases

Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience with SolidWorks or equivalent CAD package
  • Engineering degree background
  • Methodical approach with good verbal and visual communication skills
  • Ability to present oneself in a confident manner
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Ability to work under own initiative
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Ability to work professionally and maintain confidentiality requirements

Experience

  • Have or will have completed level 5 of an engineering degree (2nd year undergraduate)
  • Graduates also accepted
  • Formula student experience desired but not essential
  • Willing to present a short portfolio of work
