As General Manager, you will lead the day-to-day operations and overall commercial performance of the business. Working closely with the founder, who is transitioning into a non-executive role, you will have broad autonomy and full P&L responsibility, supported by a small, experienced management team.

Key responsibilities:

  • Leading and executing the company's overall business strategy
  • Full P&L ownership with a strong focus on profitability and sustainable growth
  • Driving sales performance and European market expansion
  • Leading, coaching and developing a small multidisciplinary team
  • Overseeing operations, service delivery and customer satisfaction
  • Building and maintaining senior relationships with customers, suppliers and partners
  • Representing the business at industry exhibitions, events and key customer meetings
  • Improving operational efficiency while maintaining technical and service excellence
  • Managing organisational change in a pragmatic, low-disruption way
  • Shaping and reinforcing a collaborative, trusted company culture

Candidate Profile:

We are keen to speak with senior leaders who can demonstrate:

  • Experience in the semiconductor, high-tech equipment or closely related sectors
  • Proven success in general management, business unit leadership or operational leadership roles
  • Strong commercial and financial capability, including P&L responsibility
  • Experience developing and executing sales and growth strategies across Europe
  • Confidence in customer-facing, stakeholder-heavy environments
  • A hands-on, pragmatic leadership style suited to entrepreneurial or owner-managed businesses
  • The ability to lead change while respecting established teams and culture
  • Excellent communication skills and credibility at a senior level
