Salary: 40,000 - 45,000 based on experience

We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Quality Inspector to join our team in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment. This is a hands‑on leadership role, combining technical inspection expertise with responsibility for developing and guiding the Inspection team.

Key duties include:

  • Leading and developing the Inspection team
  • Carrying out first‑off and final inspections
  • Performing NDT dye penetrant testing on component parts and full assemblies
  • Completing First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs) where required
  • Programming and operating Faro Arm and CMM measuring equipment
  • Interpreting complex engineering drawings and geometric tolerances
  • Managing NCRs, including investigation and resolution
  • Calibrating inspection and measurement equipment
  • Inspecting components from internal production and external suppliers
  • Supporting non‑conformance investigations and technical issue resolution
  • Ensuring products are released in line with customer inspection requirements, with full supporting documentation
  • Maintaining accurate inspection records and high standards of housekeeping
  • Attending progress meetings and liaising with customers and internal stakeholders
  • Occasional travel to customer premises as required

Essential requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment
  • NDT Dye Penetrant Testing certification to Level 2
  • Proven experience leading or mentoring inspection teams
  • Experience programming and using Faro Arm measuring equipment (scanning and probing)
  • Experience programming and operating CMMs
  • Confident using hand‑held measuring equipment
  • Strong ability to interpret engineering drawings and geometric tolerances
  • Experience producing First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs)
  • Excellent attention to detail and communication skills

Desirable:

  • Experience working within an ISO 9001 quality environment
  • Experience using ERP systems (M1 preferred)
