Silverstone Museum is seeking a skilled and dynamic
Marketing Manager
to lead our marketing and communications activity. This role is central to growing audiences, increasing visitor numbers, and delivering revenue through impactful, insight-driven campaigns.

About the Role

You\โ€™ll take ownership of our digital presence, multi-channel communications, website, and social media. You\โ€™ll plan and deliver engaging campaigns, analyse performance, and ensure the Silverstone Museum brand is consistently represented. Working alongside the CEO and Marketing Consultant, you\โ€™ll shape the annual marketing strategy and lead key projects that broaden our reach and attract new audiences.

As a senior leader, you\โ€™ll manage budgets, oversee agencies, support direct reports, and contribute to the wider strategic goals of the museum. Also contributing to the development of exhibition content direction to ensure the Museum\โ€™s offer remains relevant, engaging, and effectively promoted to target audiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver marketing plans that grow audiences and drive revenue.
  • Lead digital strategy, content creation, and social media management.
  • Own visitor number reporting and implement strategies to increase traffic.
  • Manage budgets, partner relationships, and creative/PR agencies.
  • Analyse marketing performance and optimise campaigns based on insights.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all communications.
  • Support international and inbound tourism initiatives.
  • Lead and motivate the marketing team, contributing actively to the Senior Leadership Team.

About You

  • Experienced in marketing, with strong strategic, digital and campaign management skills.
  • Collaborative, proactive and confident working at a senior level.
  • Confident managing budgets, agencies, and stakeholders.
  • Analytical, creative, and commercially aware.
  • A proactive leader with excellent communication skills and a passion for delivering results.
