At Silverstone, home of the Formula 1 British Grand Prix, we believe in opening doors for young people and helping them explore exciting future careers. Our Work Experience Programme gives students aged 14-18 the chance to go behind the scenes at one of the world’s most iconic venues and immerse themselves in the fast‑paced world of motorsport, events and innovation. Across a structured 5-day experience, students take part in business projects, shadow industry professionals, build confidence and develop skills that will last a lifetime.

Key Responsibilities

  • Actively participate in all five days of the programme
  • Collaborate within a team to deliver a live business project
  • Engage in department shadowing and professional learning sessions
  • Contribute ideas, research and creative solutions to real Silverstone challenges
  • Prepare and deliver a final group presentation to a professional panel
