The Head Chef at Escapade leads our kitchen brigade in delivering a unique luxury lifestyle experience. By building and maintaining the Escapade culture and service standards, the Head Chef will lead the department to commercial and brand success. The Clubhouse will consist of a modern international grill restaurant and bar destination concept, In Residence Dining delivery service and a pop-up roof deck ready for year-round activations.

Key Responsibilities:- Create and implement a best in class and award-winning F&B experience.
- Lead a dynamic kitchen team in the most exciting restaurant at Silverstone.
- Drive innovation and create a culture of menu development.
- Maintain a firm grip on the costs of the restaurant kitchen, from labour through to efficient solutions whilst maintaining quality and integrity of the menu.
- Ensure both guest and team experience are at the heart of all operations.
- Work closely with the F&B Manager and General Manager on menu development and ensure food quality and consistency.
- Collaborate with external catering partners to deliver major event hospitality over key events such as the Formula One British Grand Prix.
- Inspire the team to deliver beyond set expectations.
- Responsible for departmental Profit & Loss, including forecasting and budget planning.
- Implement and maintain departmental procedures, policies and checklists to provide structure while reducing admin for the team.
- Coordinate staff schedules, holidays and other leave in line with business levels.
- Communicate and monitor standards set out by the Escapade General Manager.
- Ensure controls are in place to maintain operational/departmental budgets, equipment and stock.
- Control ordering/purchasing and maintain stock levels.
- Train all staff on departmental procedures, safe working practices and luxury customer service.
- Act as the main point of contact for guest complaints and customer feedback.
- Identify and rectify issues reducing quality performance of the department.
- Make recommendations to the General Manager on improvements.
- Maintain open channels of communication with all other department heads.
- Participate in the preparation and execution of hotel goals.
- Monitor and control inventories for operating equipment.
- Manage staff performance including rewards, recognition and disciplinary practices.
- Carry out ad-hoc duties and projects as advised by the hotel General Manager.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise:- A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a successful lifestyle/distinctive restaurant.
- Pre-Opening experience is advantageous.
- Experience of managing a team of at least 15 staff.
- A strong, yet positive leadership style.
- A good command of the English language.
- Immaculate level of personal grooming and hygiene.
- Full, clean UK driving licence.
