The Accounts Assistant will work directly with the Senior Accountant and be tasked with organising our day-to-day accounting procedures. Responsibilities will include maintaining records for transactions, preparing financial reports, processing reconciliations and supporting the wider Finance team as required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Credit control, which includes managing debt recovery, ensuring timely payments and handling account queries
  • Managing monthly invoicing and payment runs
  • Reconciling customer accounts and statements
  • Preparing and delivering monthly financial reports
  • Maintaining financial and accounting records
  • Ad-hoc financial and accounting administration tasks
Required Competence and Skills:
  • Ideally 1-2 years' experience as a Financial Administrator or Accounts Assistant, and/or a degree or full qualification in finance or accounting
  • Strong Excel skills (including functions such as Pivot tables & VLookups)
  • Ability to assist with large data manipulation
  • Experience with accounting software & bookkeeping
  • Strong attention to detail, time management and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate well across the different teams within the business
  • A self-starter who enjoys multi-tasking in a fast-paced, fast growth environment
