What would you do to drive our success? We are seeking an experienced and handsâon HR professional for a temporary maternity cover role, initially foreseen as three days per week, from March to September 2026. You will be a vital member of our People team, ensuring the stability of our dayâtoâday HR operations while also collaborating on key Compensation & Benefits projects across Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, and the UK.
This is a dynamic and comprehensive role. You will collaborate closely with our People & Fleet Coordinator, Office & Culture Coordinator, and People Business Partners. You will act as a central expert for operational matters and drive specific projects related to rewards, compliance, and strategic HR initiatives.
Key ResponsibilitiesPlease note: This is a very comprehensive role with a wide variety of adâhoc tasks. The list of responsibilities is not exhaustive and will evolve based on the changing needs of the business.
- HR Operations & Compliance
- Operational Excellence: You will support the team in maintaining operational excellence, ensuring all HR processes are efficient, compliant, and wellâdocumented.
- Compliance & Audits: You will support the team in periodic audits of our HR systems, benefits, contracts, and policies to ensure they are fully upâtoâdate.
- Legal Expertise: Stay current on all local legislation and sectoral agreements (BE, NL, LUX, UK).
- Payroll Support: Serve as the subject matter expert to support payroll operations across all four countries.
- Employee Relations: Provide support in managing sensitive employee cases, such as terminations, ensuring legal compliance and a professional approach.
- Salary Review: Support and help coordinate the annual Salary Review Cycles, ensuring adherence to the companyâs compensation framework.
- Benefits Management: Manage the renewal process for employee benefits contracts, keeping a sharp eye on budget and market competitiveness.
- Variable Compensation: Work in close partnership with the Finance team on all processes and queries related to variable compensation (bonuses, commissions, etc.).
- Market Analysis: Keep an eye on emerging C&B trends, market data, and best practices.
- Strategic Support and Project Management: Lend your experience and insights to larger business projects (if any), possibly including potential mergers and acquisitions (M&A) or the opening of new entities.
- Collaboration: Foster strong crossâfunctional relationships with the Talent Team, People Business Partners, Finance, IT, Legal, and other stakeholders to drive efficiencies and simplify workflows.
- Proven Experience: You have solid experience in a similar HR role, with a strong focus on both operational HR and Compensation & Benefits.
