The primary focus of this role is to expand and strengthen SilverDoor’s global network of supplier partners. By developing a robust and up to date portfolio in key international cities, the successful applicant will play a vital part in supporting SilverDoor’s continued growth and maintaining our position as the world’s leading serviced apartment agent.
Supplier network expansion will be targeted around three core objectives:
- Portfolio Maintenance & Strategic Expansion: Ensuring SilverDoor’s property portfolio remains current, competitive, and strategically positioned for long-term growth across priority global locations.
- Meeting Forecasted Client Demand: Proactively sourcing new suppliers based on insights from Business Development and Client Account Management teams to align supply with pipeline and anticipated client needs.
- Reacting to Live Client Requirements: Responding in real time when existing supply cannot meet specific client requests. This reactive aspect requires fast, effective sourcing and onboarding under tight deadlines, with clear, measurable outcomes tied directly to success.
Portfolio Maintenance & Strategic Expansion
- Conduct ongoing market, competitor, and destination analysis to benchmark SilverDoor’s coverage and identify strategic supplier gaps.
- Source and onboard new suppliers in key global cities to maintain an up to date, competitive, and strategically aligned portfolio.
- Build strong relationships with prospective partners, negotiating favourable commercial terms that support long term growth.
- Work with internal teams to ensure supplier data, documentation, and contracts are completed accurately and consistently within onboarding standards.
- Contribute to RFP and tender processes by ensuring the supplier network can fulfil strategic requirements.
Meeting Forecasted Client Demand
- Collaborate with Business Development and Client Account Management to understand upcoming client needs, pipeline forecasts, and location priorities.
- Source and secure suppliers in anticipation of future demand, ensuring availability aligns with projected client profiles and volumes.
- Use data analysis and market insights to prioritise supplier acquisition based on expected commercial value.
Responding to Live Client Requirements
- Act quickly to source and onboard suppliers when client enquiries cannot be fulfilled by the existing portfolio.
- Deliver rapid results under tight deadlines, ensuring new supply is secured and available for immediate use.
- Work closely with internal teams to keep them informed on progress and ensure fast turnaround for client-facing proposals.
