As we continue to grow, we are looking for a talented and driven Senior Digital Marketing Specialist to join our team in Lancaster and help shape the future of our global digital presence. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced digital marketing professional to take ownership of key performance marketing channels at SilverDoor.
You will be responsible for the day-to-day management and optimisation of our email marketing programme and work closely with the wider marketing team on SEO and paid channels to drive traffic, generate leads, and support commercial growth. You will be comfortable working both strategically and hands-on, with a keen eye for data and a strong desire for delivering measurable results.
Email Marketing- Plan, build, and deploy email marketing campaigns across the full customer lifecycle, including acquisition, nurture, retention, and re-engagement.
- Manage and maintain the international email marketing calendar, ensuring campaigns are delivered on time and aligned with wider marketing activity.
- Segment audiences and develop targeted, personalised email communications to improve relevance and performance.
- Monitor, analyse, and report on key email metrics including open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates, and unsubscribes, using insights to continuously optimise performance.
- Manage and develop the marketing database, ensuring data quality and compliance with GDPR and CAN-SPAM regulations.
- Conduct A/B testing on subject lines, content, send times, and calls to action to drive continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with the wider marketing team on integrated campaigns, ensuring email activity is aligned with SEO, content, and social strategies.
- Support and execute SEO, GEO and paid marketing strategies.
- Create and edit digital content including landing pages, blog posts, case studies, and copy that supports brand awareness and lead generation.
- Support day-to-day website updates using the CMS, ensuring content is accurate, optimised, and aligned with current campaigns.
- Stay up to date with platform developments, industry trends, and best practices across email and digital marketing.
- Support the tracking and attribution of digital activity using Google Analytics and other reporting tools.
- 2-4 years of hands-on experience in a digital marketing role, with demonstrable expertise in email marketing.
- Solid understanding of email marketing best practices, including segmentation, automation, deliverability, and compliance (GDPR).
- Proficiency with email marketing platforms such as Active Campaign, HubSpot, Mailchimp, or similar.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- Experience using Google Analytics (GA4) to track and report on digital performance.
- SEO and/or GEO experience, including familiarity with search trends and keyword research. (desirable)
- Experience with paid marketing channels such as Google Ads and/or LinkedIn Ads. (desirable)
- Familiar with CMS platforms. (desirable)
