We are looking to appoint a Head of Computer Science and iMedia to make an inspiring contribution to drive further departmental and whole school improvement. The successful candidate will be an ambitious, enthusiastic and committed Head of Subject, or aspiring Head of Subject, who is a multi-skilled and energetic individual. This post will suit an existing TLR holder or expert teacher to lead a successful, well established and popular subject area.
The successful applicant will be an excellent teacher. They will be innovative, dynamic and be committed to outstanding achievement for all students. They will have been successful in demonstrating leadership skills, with experience in implementing change and working as part of a team. The position is ideal for candidates wishing to further develop their skills in management and leadership and is ideal preparation for further career progression.
The post holder must at all times carry out their responsibilities within the spirit of the school and trust policies and within the framework of legislation relating to academies and education, with particular regard to the statutory responsibilities of the trust and the governing body of the school.
