About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Chef de Partie to join our dynamic kitchen team.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing a specific section of the kitchen (e. g., sauces, grill, pastry) and ensuring that food preparation and service meet the restaurant's high standards.

You will work closely with the Sous Chef and Head Chef to ensure smooth kitchen operations and efficient service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a designated section of the kitchen, ensuring food preparation is carried out to the highest standards.
  • Prepare and cook food according to the menu, ensuring quality, consistency, and presentation.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of your section, ensuring adherence to food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Manage stock levels, and ensure the proper storage of ingredients in your section.
  • Supervise and mentor junior kitchen staff, helping them develop their skills.
  • Work efficiently during service, ensuring that orders are completed on time and to the expected quality.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in your section of the kitchen.
  • Collaborate with other chefs and kitchen staff to ensure smooth kitchen operations and timely service.
  • Assist in maintaining inventory and minimizing food waste.
  • Key Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role in a professional kitchen.
  • Strong knowledge of cooking techniques and kitchen operations.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and maintain a high standard of food quality.
