Job Description
As a Restaurant Buffet Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our buffet service.
Your main responsibilities will include setting up, maintaining, and clearing the buffet, ensuring that food is fresh, presentable, and continuously replenished throughout service, all while delivering excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and organize the buffet stations, ensuring all food items are fresh, stocked, and visually appealing.
- Assist guests by answering questions about menu items and offering suggestions when necessary.
- Replenish food items and maintain cleanliness around the buffet area.
- Clear plates, glasses, and cutlery from tables and the buffet area promptly.
- Maintain a clean and hygienic buffet station, following all food safety protocols.
- Work closely with the kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure smooth and efficient service.
- Help with post-service cleanup, including restocking, cleaning, and resetting the buffet area for the next service.
