We are looking for an experienced Martech Solutions Architect to help shape and deliver customer orchestration solutions that align business strategy, use cases, and technology execution with customer experience and business value. This role sits between key stakeholder teams across strategy, technology, and delivery, acting as a trusted advisor who leads discovery, defines business-led MarTech roadmap, and translates them into scalable architectures and integration requirements underlined by value. You will bring a strategic lens to technical scoping and implementation and work closely with technical and delivery teams to realise measurable business value from CDP investments.
The ideal candidate brings deep CDM/MA/data layer domain expertise, a strong understanding of the wider martech and data ecosystem, as well as the business impact of solutions and has the ability to engage confidently with senior stakeholders layering business acumen on top of technical expertise.
Key Responsibilities- Business Architecture & Discovery
- Engage with senior stakeholders to understand business goals, customer strategies, and transformation priorities.
- Lead CDP-focused discovery, defining customer use cases, data requirements, and activation opportunities.
- Translate business needs into clear architectural requirements, flagging gaps, risks, or constraints early.
- CDP, Data & Martech Architecture
- Design and scope end-to-end CDP architectures, covering data ingestion, identity resolution, segmentation, and activation.
- Define how the CDP integrates with Data lake/lakehouse platforms (e.g. Databricks), CRM and sales platforms (e.g. Salesforce), Marketing automation and engagement tools (e.g. Braze).
- Apply strong understanding of batch vs real-time data flows, consent, and privacy-aware design.
- Technical Solutioning & Integration
- Work with backend and data engineering teams to understand requirements and design for API-based integrations for real-time triggers, events, and personalisation.
- Support solution design for both streaming and batch pipelines across CDP, data platforms, and activation channels.
- Ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with enterprise data standards.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration to translate business architecture into measurable business impact.
- Support establishment of governance frameworks, operating models, and roadmap planning for CDP and martech platforms.
- Track business value and benefits realisation across the delivery lifecycle.
- Serve as the internal CDP practice lead, owning platform capabilities, technical direction, and strategic value.
- Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Data, or a related field.
- Equivalent practical experience will be considered in place of formal education.
- Experience & Expertise
- 6-8+ years’ experience across Business Architecture, Solution Architecture, Martech, or Data-led transformation roles.
- Demonstrated, hands-on experience working with enterprise Customer Data Platforms, ideally including platforms such as Treasure Data or comparable CDPs.
- Strong experience designing and shaping end-to-end martech and data architectures, spanning CDP and identity resolution, Marketing automation and engagement platforms, CRM and customer-facing systems, Data lake/lakehouse platforms (e.g. Databricks).
- Proven track record of leading discovery, requirements definition, and solution shaping in complex or ambiguous environments.
- Previous exposure and comfortable engaging with senior business and technical stakeholders, influencing direction and shaping outcomes.
- Business & Stakeholder Skills
- Demonstrated ability to operate as a bridge between strategy, business, and technology.
- Comfortable leading discovery, influencing senior stakeholders, and translating complexity into clear recommendations.
- Experience working in consulting, agency, or complex enterprise environments.
- Mindset
- This is not a purely technical role - success is measured by business alignment, adoption, and value, not just implementation.
- Collaborative, outcome-focused, and able to mentor or guide less experienced team members, as well as operate confidently within complex, multi-stakeholder project environments.
- Proactive and outcome-driven, with a strong bias toward identifying opportunities, shaping ideas, and proposing solutions rather than narrowly executing.
