About Silverbullet

Silverbullet is a boutique customer experience partner. We sit at the intersection of data, technology and customer marketing activation, helping some of the world's most recognised brands build better relationships with their customers. Our work spans data engineering, MarTech implementation, CRM and personalisation, customer channel activation and agentic AI, delivered as one unified team with a single focus: outcomes, not outputs. We work with brands across FMCG, travel, broadcasting and hospitality, including Heineken, Mars Snacking, easyJet and ITV. We are small by design, senior by default, and direct in everything we do.

The Role

This is a senior, client-facing role at the heart of our MarTech practice. As our CDP Architect on a key account, you will own the technical and strategic relationship with clients who have deployed Treasure Data as their customer data platform, working within a broader stack that includes Databricks for data engineering and Braze for multi-channel activation.

Solution design and scoping are central to what you will do. You will be the person clients turn to when they need to understand what is possible, what it will take to build it, and how to get there. That means running discovery workshops, translating complex technical requirements into clear delivery plans, and knowing when to push back on a brief that will not deliver real value. You will also be responsible for line managing up to two members of the delivery team, supporting their development and helping maintain quality across client engagements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead solution design and scoping across Treasure Data implementations, including ingestion architecture, identity resolution, audience segmentation and activation workflows connected to Braze.
  • Act as the primary technical point of contact for your clients, translating business and marketing objectives into data and platform requirements they can actually act on.
  • Run and facilitate client workshops, discovery sessions and technical reviews, producing clear documentation and solution designs as outputs.
  • Design and oversee the build of complex SQL-based audience and data pipelines within Treasure Data, working with Databricks as the underlying data platform.
  • Collaborate with Braze specialists and CRM strategists to ensure data flowing from the CDP supports personalised, well-timed customer communications.
  • Define integration patterns and data flows across the MarTech stack, identifying gaps, risks and dependencies early in the engagement lifecycle.
  • Provide technical governance and quality assurance across delivery work, reviewing the output of your team and ensuring best practice is applied consistently.
  • Line manage up to two team members, supporting day-to-day delivery, career development conversations and performance.
  • Contribute to pre-sales activities including scoping, estimation and proposal writing where your technical expertise is needed.

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for someone who can hold their own in a room with a client's Head of Data and their Group Marketing Director at the same time. Technical depth matters. So does the ability to make complex things clear.

Core requirements:

  • Hands-on experience with Treasure Data, including workflow design, TD Query (Presto/Hive SQL), audience segmentation, data ingestion and activation. Strong candidates from other enterprise CDPs (such as Salesforce Data Cloud, Adobe Real-Time CDP, mParticle or Tealium) will be considered where SQL skills and platform fluency are clearly evident.
  • Strong SQL skills, to a level where you are comfortable building and reviewing complex transformation logic, debugging production issues and advising clients on query performance.
  • Experience working within a MarTech stack that spans data warehouse or lakehouse platforms (Databricks experience is a distinct advantage) and marketing activation tools such as Braze, Salesforce Marketing Cloud or similar.
  • A track record of designing solutions and scoping engagements directly with clients, including the ability to run workshops, produce technical documentation and manage expectations through a delivery lifecycle.
  • Experience in a client-facing consulting, agency or professional services environment, where you have been accountable for the quality and outcome of your work, not just your individual contribution.
  • Some experience of line managing or mentoring more junior technical colleagues.

Nice to Have

  • Direct experience in marketing roles, or working closely with marketing teams to understand how data decisions translate into campaign performance and customer outcomes.
  • Background in the hospitality sector, or experience supporting hospitality clients with their customer data and marketing technology programmes.
  • Familiarity with identity resolution approaches, consent management and first-party data strategy.
  • Experience contributing to commercial scoping and effort estimation as part of a pre-sales or bid process.

Working at Silverbullet

We are a small team that does big work. Most of our people have been in industry for a long time, which means the conversations are good, the nonsense is limited, and the standard is high. You will have real access to senior people from day one, genuine influence over how things are done, and clients who trust us because we have earned it. We work hybrid across our London and Plymouth offices, with travel to client sites as the role requires. This is not a role for someone who wants to stay behind a screen. You will be on-site, in workshops, in front of senior stakeholders, regularly.
