Are you an experienced residential childcare professional looking to take the next step into a leadership role? In The Beeches, we are seeking a passionate and dedicated Team Leader to join our children’s home. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting the management team and making a real difference in the lives of young people.
About the Role
As a Team Leader, you will support the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring that high standards of care are consistently delivered. You will help lead the team and create a safe, stable, and nurturing environment where young people can thrive. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing a safe, supportive, and child-centred environment
- Leading shifts and guiding care staff
- Supporting care planning, record-keeping, and reporting
- Ensuring compliance with Ofsted regulations and safeguarding standards
- Promoting independence and positive outcomes for young people
The Essentials
- Minimum 1 year experience in residential childcare
- Experience working within an Ofsted-regulated children’s home
- Strong understanding of safeguarding and child-centred practice
- A positive, resilient, and committed approach
- Full UK driving licence (preferred)
