Children's Residential Care - Team Leader - Full-Time

Hours: 40 hours per week | On-site | Sleep-ins (average of 1-2 sleep-ins per week)

Pay rate: Hourly rate of £17.10 and sleep-in rate paid at £70.50 per night.

About the Role

As a Team Leader, you will support the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring that high standards of care are consistently delivered. You will help lead the team and create a safe, stable, and nurturing environment where young people can thrive. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing a safe, supportive, and child-centred environment
  • Leading shifts and guiding care staff
  • Supporting care planning, record‑keeping, and reporting
  • Ensuring compliance with Ofsted regulations and safeguarding standards
  • Promoting independence and positive outcomes for young people

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum 1 year experience in residential childcare
  • Experience working within an Ofsted-regulated children’s home
  • Strong understanding of safeguarding and child‑centred practice
  • A positive, resilient, and committed approach
  • Full UK driving licence (preferred)
