Deputy Children's Home Manager – Full Time – On Site
Hours: 40 hours per week | On-site | Sleep-ins (average 1-2 per week)

We are looking for caring and committed Deputy Managers to join our team in Silver Birch Care (Residential Services). This is a rewarding opportunity to support young people in a safe, stable, and nurturing home environment where they can grow, develop, and achieve positive outcomes.
About the Role
As a Deputy Manager, you will work closely with the Registered Manager to support the day‑to‑day running of the home. Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting and supervising staff teams
- Ensuring compliance with Ofsted regulations and Quality Standards
- Promoting a safe, structured, and child‑focused environment
- Contributing to care planning and development of young people
- Deputising in the absence of the Registered Manager
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in residential childcare
- At least 1 year of experience supervising staff
- Strong understanding of Ofsted regulations and safeguarding
- Level 3 in Residential Childcare (required)
- Level 5 in Leadership & Management (or willingness to work towards)
- Full UK driving licence (preferred)
