Are you an experienced residential childcare professional looking to take the next step into a leadership role? We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Team Leader to join our children’s home. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting the management team and making a real difference in the lives of young people.

About the Role

As a Team Leader, you will support the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring that high standards of care are consistently delivered. You will help lead the team and create a safe, stable, and nurturing environment where young people can thrive.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing a safe, supportive, and child-centred environment
  • Leading shifts and guiding care staff
  • Supporting care planning, record-keeping, and reporting
  • Ensuring compliance with Ofsted regulations and safeguarding standards
  • Promoting independence and positive outcomes for young people

Person Specification

  • Minimum 1 year experience in residential childcare
  • Experience working within an Ofsted-regulated children’s home
  • Strong understanding of safeguarding and child-centred practice
  • A positive, resilient, and committed approach
  • Full UK driving licence (preferred)
