Deputy Children’s Home Manager – Full-Time

Hours: 40 hours per week (including sleep-ins, weekends, and shifts)

About the Role

As a Deputy Manager, you will work closely with the Registered Manager to support the day‑to‑day running of the home. You will play a key role in leading the team, maintaining high standards, and ensuring the best possible care for young people. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting and supervising staff teams
  • Ensuring compliance with Ofsted regulations and Quality Standards
  • Promoting a safe, structured, and child‑focused environment
  • Contributing to care planning and development of young people
  • Deputising in the absence of the Registered Manager

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in residential childcare
  • At least 1 year of experience supervising staff
  • Strong understanding of Ofsted regulations and safeguarding
  • Level 3 in Residential Childcare (required)
  • Level 5 in Leadership & Management (or willingness to work towards)
  • Full UK driving licence (preferred)
