We\’re looking for an Implementation Engineer to join our Operations team at Swan Retail/EPOS Bureau. This is a key customer‑facing role where you’ll help deliver hardware and software setups, configure systems, and make sure our retail and hospitality customers get a seamless, stress‑free onboarding experience. No two days are the same. One day you’ll be configuring servers or staging hardware, and the next you may be on‑site ensuring a smooth installation.

What you’ll be doing
Carrying out a mix of hardware setup, configuration, and software installation
Supporting both internal teams and external clients with implementation queries
Managing your own workload and completing tasks within agreed timeframes
Documenting processes and maintaining accurate implementation records
Configuring new hardware, staging equipment, and updating handover documents
Visiting client sites to install hardware when required
Collaborating closely with the wider Ops team and helping the Helpdesk when needed
Ensuring your workspace and our equipment stays clean, organised, and installation‑ready
What we’re looking for
Strong problem‑solving and fault‑finding skills
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Good technical understanding of PCs and ideally EPOS hardware
Experience installing software and following technical processes
High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
A team player with a positive, proactive attitude
Previous experience in an Implementations or Technical Installation role
Experience in the retail or hospitality sector
Knowledge of Windows Desktop and Server
Understanding of routers, switches, and basic firewall configuration
Familiarity with modern networking protocols and operating systems
