The Crew Co-ordinator will ideally have knowledge of the industry and demonstrate authority and expertise to build relationships with crew, be a great communicator, enjoy problem solving and have a talent for logistics.
Working in conjunction with the Regional Manager, an existing Crew Co-ordinator and our Admin Support, the job would require you to build relationships with our crew and create excellent lines of communication. You will be part of a dynamic team, working together with the goal of placing the best crew on each job day after day, ensuring each job has the relevant amount of experience. It can often be a fast-paced environment where our clients can demand last minute crew for an event. It is this element of the job where logistics come in, having an ability to move crew around and problem solve as necessary.
- Crewing Up Jobs: To book crew on jobs effectively, using our in-house intranet system, ensuring the correct crew mix of experience. To follow process in place in order to prevent any issues for clients or for Silverback. To have excellent communication and personable skills. To have a passion for logistics and problem solving.
- Crew Recruitment: To ensure sustainable sources of recruitment are put in place. Managing job posts through to conclusion. Actively seek out new sources of recruitment. Have a list of avenues ready to go. To make first contact with new recruits and see the recruitment process through to the induction stage. Ensure crew numbers are sufficient for the next quarter. To be responsible for the quality of new crew members that join Silverback. Silverback standards and service levels must be held at high standards at all times.
- Crew Training: Identify crew for development and put forward crew to develop on the in-house training plan to take them through the stages from Green, Amber, Elite, Crew Chief. Manage and develop core crew and log this on the KPI document. Monitor and assess the effectiveness and success of training programmes. Monitor any crew that are underperforming by liaising with crew directly and finding a solution to improve. Capture feedback to continuously adapt and improve training.
