We are working exclusively with a long standing client who is seeking an experienced, switched on housekeeper for a large, beautiful residence in Belgravia. The Principal is in residence 2-3 times a week as he travels often. You will be working alongside a 2nd housekeeper, a butler, 2 chefs, driver and house manager.
The property contains numerous high-value items, including an extensive art collection and a luxury wardrobe. Therefore, the successful candidate must be highly experienced, discreet and confident in handling luxury goods with utmost care and precision. This is a role that demands exceptional attention to detail as there is no margin for error.
Key Responsibilities- Daily cleaning and maintenance of all rooms to a high standard
- Careful handling and cleaning of fine furnishings, antiques, and artwork
- Laundry, ironing, and wardrobe management, including delicate and designer clothing
- Supporting the butler with the organisation of wardrobes, packing/unpacking for travel, and seasonal clothing rotation
- Restocking household supplies and managing inventories
- Polishing silver, maintaining luxury surfaces (e.g., marble, hardwood)
- Coordinating with other household staff and service providers
- Managing flower arrangements and general aesthetic presentation of the home
- Reporting maintenance issues and overseeing minor repairs or services to the butler or house manager
- Maintaining discretion, confidentiality, and a professional demeanor at all times
- Strong previous experience in UHNW private residences
- High levels of attention to detail

- Live within a commutable distance to Belgravia
