Reporting to the Head of Procurement you will be responsible for;
- Developing and delivering procurement strategies across key direct spend categories.
- Lead supplier negotiations, tenders and contract management to deliver value and manage risk.
- Build strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders across multiple sites.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings, supply continuity and ongoing supplier performance improvement.
Your Experience;
- You will have gained experienced within a procurement/buying role ideally within the FMCG industry (however other sectors will be considered)
- Previous management of direct categories is essential, packaging would be advantageous
- You will be committed to continuous improvement, and who thrives on change.
- Knowledge of contract negotiations, supplier benchmarking and tender processes
- Multi-site or global procurement experience is essential
