Silver Planet Group, a market leader based in Marlow, is seeking a Junior Demand Planner to work alongside the Demand Planning Manager to support demand planning analysis across the business for the year ahead. The role requires strong analytical skills, confidence with advanced Excel functions, and the ability to support forecasting and reporting. Hybrid arrangement after 3 months. Responsibilities
- Review and analyse sales forecasts and break them down by customer and product, providing recommendations and flagging risks and anomalies.
- Perform historical cleansing to improve statistical forecasts.
- Maintain phase‑in/phase‑out schedules and master data within the local forecasting system.
- Update the system with forecasts when necessary.
- Support the Demand Planning Manager in monthly demand reviews with sales managers.
- Weekly revision of overselling and underselling SKUs.
- Prepare regular reports on forecast accuracy relative to business targets.
- Carry out ad hoc responsibilities as requested by the Line Manager.
Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum one year of demand planning experience or supply planner seeking to grow.
- Strong analytical thinking and ability to handle pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
- Experience working for a consumer goods company is desirable.
- Consistent and accurate routine task performance.
- Intermediate Excel (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, IF statements, SUMIFS).
- Experience with SAP is highly advantageous.
- Good written and verbal communication skills, including stakeholder engagement at various levels.
