Our client, a well-respected, privately owned company that has been established for nearly 40 years, is looking to recruit an experienced Warehouse Operative to join the warehouse team. The role is Monday to Thursday 9am - 5.30pm with a 5pm finish on Fridays. Salary Up To £28k Plus Company Bonus And Benefits.

Duties:

  • Picking & packing orders
  • Assisting in offloading containers
  • Keeping the warehouse clean & tidy
  • Loading/unloading courier vans
  • Some re-packing of products may be required from time to time
  • Stock taking, as and when necessary
  • Re-locating stock, according to instructions

Skills And Experience:

  • Previous warehouse experience
  • A general knowledge of Health & Safety in the workplace - although an induction & training on this will be provided
  • Experience of using pallet pump trucks, although instruction will be given
  • A license to use the following trucks is beneficial, but training may be provided for the right candidate: F1 Very Narrow Aisle Truck (Man-Up), E2 Order Picker (Man-Up), B1 Counterbalance truck
  • Able to work quickly and accurately with attention to detail
  • Quick to learn, easy going & friendly, with good sense of humour
  • Flexible & conscientious with a 'can do' attitude
  • A team player with ability to work on own initiative, as well as under instruction
