The role of a Maintenance Officer involves:
- Maintaining accurate records.
- Inspecting boilers/calorifiers and recording findings.
- Monitoring water and regularly flushing (in line with Acop L8 Guidelines).
- Visually inspecting heating and pipework.
- Visually inspecting lift to ensure it is in good working order.
- Inspecting and scheduling testing of fire systems and hardware.
- Inspecting and function testing automatic fire doors.
- Carrying out routine fire drills and induction support.
- Maintaining external grounds and car parks.
- Carrying out minor electrical repairs and inspecting equipment.
- Undertaking decoration works.
- Inspecting electrical appliances.
- Carrying out minor plaster patching and filling to damages.
This role also requires you to:
- Maintain professional knowledge and competence.
- Complete mandatory training days and online courses.
- Full Driving License.
