Our client is a £multi-billion turnover consumer and wholesale financial services company. It is the market leader with 25% share.

Reporting to the Main Board Chief Revenue Officer, the Head of Product - Cards holds P&L ownership for the Card proposition, including new card sales, reloads, and all associated features and compliance requirements. This role drives the strategic product roadmap, manages key supplier and vendor relationships, and ensures the cards remain market-leading, fully compliant products. This role is a mix of commercial ownership, product strategy and transformation.

The role has extensive interaction internally with senior management across the business and externally with distribution partners, suppliers and others. It also manages an internal product team and works alongside a technical project manager. The appointment of a new supplier will mean a significant focus on transformation and stakeholder management in the short to medium term.

Qualifications:

  • Significant knowledge of card products and/or e-money and pre-paid cards
  • Experience in vendor management and working with card processing schemes
  • Strong knowledge of relevant regulatory framework and financial technologies and providers
  • Relevant qualification(s) in business, finance or supply chain
  • Project management or procurement qualification desirable
