Silver Cloud Care NI is currently recruiting Community Care Assistants for our clients in Newtownabbey. We are looking for individuals to provide care and support to vulnerable adults in their own home.
Responsibilities
- Ensure physical and emotional wellbeing
- Support independence with dignity and respect
- Assisting with dressing, bathing, toileting, and mobility support
- Meal preparation
- Provide much needed company and engaging conversation
- Light household duties
- Social outings, go for a cuppa and a walk around the shops
Skills and Qualifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Be a good listener
- A non-judgemental approach to care
- Patience (you may have to listen to the same story numerous times)
- Driver with access to/own car
- Previous experience working as a Care Assistant (not essential as full training will be provided)

- We offer immediate interviews, competitive rate of pay, flexible working hours, minimum call time 1 hour
- You will be required to undergo an enhanced Access NI enhanced check
- Be registered with NISCC (or willing to register)
- Complete all mandatory training
