Silver Cloud Care NI is currently recruiting Community Care Assistants for our clients in Lurgan. We are looking for individuals to provide care and support to vulnerable adults in their own home. If you are passionate about making a difference to the lives of others, we would love to hear from you.
We offer immediate interviews, competitive rate of pay, flexible working hours, minimum call time 1 hour.
Responsibilities:- Ensure physical and emotional wellbeing
- Support independence with dignity and respect
- Assisting with dressing, bathing, toileting, and mobility support
- Meal preparation
- Provide much needed company and engaging conversation
- Light household duties
- Social outings, go for a cuppa and a walk around the shops
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A non-judgemental approach to care
- Driver with access to own car
- Previous experience working as a Care Assistant (not essential as full training will be provided)
- Patience (you may have to listen to the same story numerous times)
- You will be required to undergo an enhanced Access NI enhanced check
- Be registered with NISCC (or willing to register)
- Complete all mandatory training
