We’re recruiting experienced Domestic Assistants for a casual role needed x4 days a week, preferably Tuesday – Friday between 8:30 am and 3:00 pm. Applicants must live in: Doubleview, Glendalough, Herdsman, Joondanna, Mt Hawthorn, Osborne Park, Scarborough, Stirling, Tuart Hill or Woodlands.
Domestic Assistants support clients to maintain independence by providing domestic assistance, general housekeeping, meal preparation and social support. The role involves travelling between clients’ homes, following a digital schedule and care plan via a mobile app, so a reliable vehicle and ability to work autonomously are essential.
What’s on offer:
- $41.08 per hour (inclusive of 25% casual loading) + super.
- Travel allowance of $1.03 per km.

What we’re looking for:
- 3–6 months Domestic/Industrial cleaning experience.
- A valid driver’s licence with unrestricted access to a registered vehicle which is appropriately insured and in good condition – essential.
- Ability and willingness to work autonomously in the community, travelling from home to home, referring to a digital schedule and care plan via a mobile app – essential.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal & written) skills – essential.
The role:
- Provide high‑quality support that promotes client independence.
- Deliver domestic assistance and general housekeeping tasks.
- Prepare meals and support clients with basic nutrition needs.
- Provide social support and assist clients to remain engaged in their community.
- Follow a predetermined schedule while travelling between clients’ homes.
- Use a mobile app to access and follow digital schedules and care plans independently.
- Maintain unrestricted access to a reliable vehicle for travel between visits.
