We are working with a growing organisation to recruit a Head of People to lead and strengthen its people function. The role can be based in either Manchester or Birmingham, with hybrid working on offer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the People strategy, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
- Manage an established team, with the opportunity to further develop and scale the function as the company enters a significant period of growth.
- Coach and support managers in performance management, employee development, and engagement.
- Ensure HR compliance and adherence to UK employment law and best practice.
- Drive engagement, wellbeing, and diversity initiatives to foster a positive and inclusive culture.
Experience Required:
- Proven experience operating as a Head of People or in a senior HR leadership role, with responsibility for setting and delivering people strategy aligned to business goals.
- Strong working knowledge of UK employment law, with the confidence to manage complex employee relations matters.
- Experience partnering with senior stakeholders and supporting line managers across performance, engagement, and organisational development.
- CIPD Level 5 or Level 7 qualification (or equivalent experience).
