Hours: This role is a full-time role (40 hours per week)

Hourly rate: £18.62

Sleep-in rate: £70.50

Person Specification:

  • You should have at least two years’ experience relevant to residential care within the last five years.
  • At least one year of experience supervising and managing professional staff.
  • Sound knowledge and understanding of Children Homes regulation including Quality Standards 2015, The Children’s Homes (Amendment) Regulations 2011, Care Standards Act 2000, Ofsted and related legislation, and policies and procedures.
  • You should hold a Level 3 in Residential Childcare or equivalent.
  • You should hold a Level 5 diploma in Leadership and Management for Children and Young Peoples Services or be willing to work towards.
  • You should be dedicated to providing outstanding care.
  • You should be suitable to work with Children.
  • A DBS Certificate is a requirement of the role.
