Ofsted Registered Children's Home Manager - Full-Time - On-Site

Location: Cricklewood, London

Hours: This role is a full-time role (40 hours per week)

Overview

As a Registered Children's Manager, you will oversee the care and well-being of children in various settings, ensuring their safety and development are prioritised. You will be joining a leading Children's organisation with a mission to provide looked-after young people with a safe and nurturing environment, one that promotes empowerment, independence and choice, while enhancing their core living skills, and ability to move across the care continuum into fully independent living.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the care and well-being of children in accordance with Ofsted requirements and organisational policy.
  • Ensure safety, safeguarding, and developmental progress of looked-after children.
  • Lead and manage a children's home in line with regulatory and statutory obligations.

Person Specification

  • You should have experience of managing a children's home.
  • You should hold a level 5 diploma in children and young people's residential care.
  • You should have experience of working with children and young people.
  • You should be dedicated to providing outstanding care.
  • You should be suitable to work with Children. A DBS Certificate is a requirement of the role.

Experience

  • Ofsted Children's Home: 2 years (required)
  • Ofsted Home Management: 1 year (required)
