THE ROLE AT A GLANCE

  • Location: The Beeches UK
  • Hours: 40 hours per week (including sleep-ins, weekends, and shifts)
  • Salary: £31,907 per annum
  • Sleep-in Pay: Up to £700 per month (dependent on sleep-ins worked)
  • Overtime: Paid at time and a quarter (x1.25) once the minimum 40 hours are worked

About the Role

As a Team Leader, you will support the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring that high standards of care are consistently delivered. You will help lead the team and create a safe, stable, and nurturing environment where young people can thrive. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing a safe, supportive, and child‑centred environment
  • Leading shifts and guiding care staff
  • Supporting care planning, record-keeping, and reporting
  • Ensuring compliance with Ofsted regulations and safeguarding standards
  • Promoting independence and positive outcomes for young people

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum 1 year experience in residential childcare
  • Experience working within an Ofsted‑regulated children’s home
  • Level 3 Diploma in Children & Young People’s Residential Care (required)
  • Strong understanding of safeguarding and child‑centred practice
  • A positive, resilient, and committed approach
  • Full UK driving licence (preferred)
