HGV Class One Driver required for tramping work based in the following areas - (you will be based from your preferred area): Marchington, Middlewich.
This work is specialised & high-profile so for the first 6 months you will work on transporting machinery and commercial vehicles. After this, you will then have the opportunity to progress onto transporting abnormal loads up to 4.6 metres wide and 18 metres long.
Your Shift Pattern:
- Generally, Monday to Friday tramping.
- Occasional weekend work may be required, but will be notified well in advance.
- Start times will vary as per operational requirements.
Your job:
- Driving a modern, high-end vehicle and specialist trailer.
- UK wide transportation of plant machinery and commercial vehicles.
- Responsible for the transportation of abnormal loads throughout the UK in support of large engineering projects, the construction industry, and manufacturers of plant machinery & commercial vehicles.
- Load restraint, abnormal load marking, working with cranes and escort vehicles.

What we need from you:
- HGV Class One Licence.
- In-date CPC & Digi.
- No more than 6 points. No IN, DD or DR endorsements.
- HGV Experience Required: 2 Years.
- Experience in abnormal load transportation advantageous, though not essential.
- Due to the nature of this role, it is best suited to careful and experienced drivers.
