Salary: £29,741 per annum

Working Hours: Monday to Friday 0700-1700 (1 hour lunch break) with occasional Saturday working (paid at an enhanced rate).

Purpose of the Role: The role is to engage in the receipt and dispatch of finished plant machinery. This will require the individual to drive, park and load a wide range of brand new, high‑value plant machinery onto HGVs, in addition to any other tasks required to maintain product throughout. Previous plant machinery experience not necessary, as full training will be provided. Full, clean UK driving licence mandatory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Driving and carefully parking plant machinery around the yard
  • Loading machinery onto HGVs and assisting drivers with loading and unloading
  • Carrying out basic visual checks for any obvious damage or defects
  • Using the stock scanning system to keep track of equipment
  • Keeping the yard clean, safe and well organised
  • Helping maintain equipment stores that drivers use
  • Carrying out simple machine prep tasks when required
  • Working outdoors in all weather as part of a supportive team
  • Physically fit
  • Able to work outside in all weathers and work at height
  • Competent written and verbal communicator
  • Proficient with basic Microsoft Office software
  • Receptive to training
  • Able to work under strict safety regulations
