KeyResponsibilities:
- Strategic leadershipof Inclusion across the school
- Leading provision forpupils with SEND, disadvantaged pupils and vulnerable groups
- Monitoring progress,provision and outcomes for vulnerable pupils and those with additionalneeds
- Working collaborativelywith families, external agencies and professionals
- Leading staffdevelopment to strengthen inclusive teaching, adaptive practice andimpactful interventions
- Contributing to other whole-schoolimprovement priorities as part of the Senior Leadership Team
We arelooking for someone who:
- Has a clear passionfor Inclusion and high standards across the Primary phase
- Has a minimum of 5years successful Primary teaching experience ideally across morethan one Key Stage.
- Is an excellentclassroom practitioner with strong strategic leadership skills
- Hasthe NPQ SENCO award (or equivalent) or is willing to train and obtainthis.
- Has strongcommunication and partnership skills with parents and external agencies
- Has personality, caninspire, support and challenge staff to improve outcomes for all pupils
