Role Overview
The Technical Sales Account Manager (TAM) drives sales targets within a defined geographic area, serving as the main contact for key and target accounts. This highly technical role leverages a strong understanding of engineered material technologies, customer service, and sales strategies to retain business and uncover new opportunities. The TAM supports growth across aerospace, electronics, military, and other critical sectors, balancing existing accounts with new development. With a consultative, solution‑oriented approach, the TAM manages relationships, aligns internal resources, and communicates across customer and organisational levels to meet business goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Negotiate new business opportunities
- Develop and nurture relationships with new businesses that encourages loyalty and repeat purchases
- Look for new opportunities within the market
- Build contacts with our customer base to create new business opportunities

Requirements
- At least three years experience in technical sales, account management, or business development (aerospace and aviation industry preferred)
- Proven experience expanding territory across international markets
- Full, clean UK driving license (due to travel requirements)
- Technical acumen and ability to quickly learn new techniques and develop application insight
- Proficiency in using CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and tools for territory planning, pipeline tracking, and reporting
- Strong interpersonal and relationship‑building skills, with the ability to build rapport with both internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to confidently deliver presentations to customers and stakeholders to drive sales growth
- Self‑motivated and goal‑oriented with a proactive approach to identifying opportunities
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
